Mark Cuban (Owner of the Dallas Mavericks and blogger) came up with a pretty good idea to increase the number of people who go to the theater to see a movie. His idea is to give away the soundtrack to the movie (download or cd) with the purchase of a ticket. I have to say, it’s one of the best ideas I’ve heard for increasing ticket sales.

I think it’s time for Chicago to have a nickname for people that come into the city from Naperville/Schaumburg/North Shore into the city. New York calls their local visitors “Bridge and Tunnel” but we don’t have and bridges or tunnels. I’ll take suggestions in the comments.

Well, it looks as if the union laborers are hard at work getting the 2008 Chicago auto show together. I will be attending again this year to get a peek at the new BMW 1 Series and X6. Hopefully they’ll also have the Mercedes CLC on hand so I can see if it looks as crappy as the older C-Class coupe.
